Media Stream had the honor of displaying a video commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the creation of the U.S. Navy Seabees on the outfield screen at Citi Field. The video was part of the 75th Anniversary celebrations for Memorial Day. The Mets honored Seabee heroes Marvin Shields and Robert Stethem by presenting their loved ones with honorary Met jerseys. In addition, Media Stream created a video featuring Baseball Hall of Famer Bob Wolff who was also honored that day. Bob is credited with creating the legendary Seabee Advanced Base Supply Handbook while serving in the Pacific during World War II.
Media Stream worked with the U.S. Navy Seabee Historical Foundation to create a fundrasising film celebrating the Seabee’s 75th Anniversary as the construction arm of the U.S. Navy’s Civil Engineering Corp. Media Stream took 75 years of archival footage combined with home movies and interviews to create a fundraising video used by the Seabees in support of their museum in Port Hueneme, California. Media Stream Producer John Heaney traveled to California and Wyoming for interviews with key supporters connected to the museum and the Seabee’s Diamond Anniversary celebrations. Media Stream worked closely with fundraising agency The Munshine Group to bring the achievements of the Navy Seabees to the public.
