Media Stream produced a video with award-winning editor Tony Grocki and the New York State Office of Child and Family Services. This video was created for the Greater Hudson Promise Neighborhood. Greater Hudson Promise Neighborhood helps children whose parents are incarcerated throughout New York State. Children very often are negatively impacted by the visitation restrictions put in place between them when they face a parent’s incarceration.

Since the start of the program correction personnel recognize the positive benefits the program has on inmates. The program has been warmly received by Sheriff Dave Bartlett and his staff at the Columbia County Jail. This program can benefit other county jails where children are affected by the incarceration of one or more parents.
