Here’s a nonprofit fundraising video Media Stream produced for Gift of Life of Central New York. Gift of Life sponsors heart surgeries for children in the third world who don’t have access to medical care found in the United States. Gift of Life works with Samaritan’s Purse to identify children who need life saving surgery. 2 year old Bayarchimeg was brought to Albany Medical Center from Mongolia with her mother Bayammba and interpreter Otgo. Dr. Neil Devejian and the dedicated surgical team at Albany Medical Center gave her the life-saving surgery she needed.

Objective: To bring awareness and support to the work Gift of Life brings to children in need of life-saving surgery throughout the world.

Challenge: Work with a young girl from Mongolia and her family to express the impact and gratitude to the doctors and staff at Albany Med that made it possible
Solution: Interview the family and the doctors and staff who gave up their time and talent to give the little Bayarchimeg a chance at life.
Result: Gift of Life of Central New York received an outpouring of financial support from the community it serves.
