Media Stream produced this workforce recruitment video for National Grid to communicate the company’s vision for the Workforce of the Future. Through interviews with National Grid leadership and employees, the video highlights the people, workplace values and career opportunities shaping the utility workforce of tomorrow.
The Challenge
National Grid wanted to communicate what the “Workforce of the Future” meant to the organization and the employees helping to build it. The goal was to create a recruitment-focused message that could introduce prospective employees to National Grid’s workplace culture, values and evolving career opportunities.
The Video Solution
Media Stream interviewed National Grid leadership and employees about their perspectives on the changing workforce and what they valued about working for the company.
By combining employee and leadership interviews with supporting workplace footage, the production presented National Grid through the voices of the people who work there. The video helped prospective employees better understand the organization, its people and its approach to building the workforce of the future.
The Result
The completed video gave National Grid a professional recruitment and employer-branding tool that could communicate its workforce message through the experiences and perspectives of its employees.
